In a strategic move to ensure flawless execution of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) highly anticipated 2025 Elective National Convention, the leadership of the National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) Executive has arrived in Ibadan today for an on-the-ground assessment of the host state’s preparation for the event.
The visit led by NCOC Chairman and Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the delegation is conducting a thorough review of logistics, infrastructure, security, and welfare arrangements ahead of the historic event scheduled for November 15-16, 2025.
This strategic visit follows meetings of various sub committee, including that of the 2025 national convention.

The visit reaffirms the PDP’s commitment to delivering a seamless, secure, and inspiring convention that will elect the party’s new national leadership and chart a bold path for Nigeria’s democratic future.
The visit shows that, from the upgraded Ibadan airport and roads to robust security protocols, every detail has been addressed by host Governor Seyi Makinde
The Ibadan 2025 national convention promises to be a resounding success and a turning point for PDP’s resurgence to power.
The National Convention Organizing Committee team, comprising Deputy Chairman, Tanimu Turaki, SAN, Secretary, Senator Ben Obi, and other stakeholders will undertake tours of the upgraded facilities including the Ibadan Airport runway expansion, newly rehabilitated convention routes, the stadium and accommodation among others.
