Alhaji Idris Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo, the Hakimin Kabo and Sarkin Gabas of Kano State is dead
According to report the Monarch tragically lost his life in a motor accident in Kano city at the age of 48.
The late Alhaji Idris was the son of the late Jarman Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Adamu Dankabo, a respected elder statesman and founder of Kabo Air. He carried on his family’s legacy of service and leadership within the Kano Emirate.
He is survived by his wife and two children.
His Highness, Emir Muhammadu Sanusi ll is expected to lead the Jana’iza (Funeral Prayer) today Friday 19th September,2025 at the Emir’s Palace, Kano, by 10:00 AM.
May Almighty Allah grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and may He give his family, loved ones, and the entire community the strength and patience to bear this great loss.
